Jim Ward Realty Co. is the business name for the Real Estate traffic of Rocky Mountain Realty-Surveys, Inc.  We have been providing property management, planning, and sales for over twenty years in Grand County.  Jim Ward, a licensed Broker and Professional Land Surveyor in Colorado, came to Grand County in the early 1970's and fell in love with the charm and quiet solitude of Kremmling.

We have a generous sharing program to encourage other brokers to show the properties we list and generally enjoy a reciprocal arrangement to show listings held by other brokers.  Jim will be happy to arrange to show you any property listed for sale in Grand County, regardless of who holds the contract on the property.  His contacts from his long residence and interest in Grand County are extensive.  Jim is personable and enthusiastic and will make every effort to ensure you find the right property for you in Grand County.

Grand County itself is a winter wonderland.  Winter Park ski resort on the East end of the county draws millions of visitors from the Front Range, and all over the country, each year.  Sol Vista Golf & Ski Ranch (formerly Silver Creek Golf and Ski Ranch) area in Granby, Colorado, is a little closer to home here in Kremmling and caters to beginners and family skiers and is a charming little area.  Other wintertime activities include sleigh rides, ice fishing on any of the dozen or so reservoirs and lakes in the area, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, hunting, dog sled rides and a host of other events.  Summertime is also a good time to be in Grand County.  Each town in the county holds its own parades and celebrations, concerts, and other events.  The county is home to some very interesting history and any of the links on our links page can lead you to an entire world practically unknown outside the area.  Our summertime activities include fishing, hiking, boating, rafting, bicycling, or just driving around the countryside enjoying the scenery.

Kremmling itself is a small town at the confluence of the Colorado, Blue and Muddy rivers.  We are at the bottom of the county and experience some of its strangest weather.  Generally, whatever the weather is doing in Winter Park, you can expect the opposite in Kremmling.  Kremmling is an hour from Steamboat Springs, Winter Park, A-basin, Keystone and Copper Mountain and provides an acceptable alternative to the extreme housing costs in the towns housing the big resorts.

This page, of course, is just a very small part of what's available in Grand County, and mostly subjective.  There are, however, many resources available to plan your visit.  Come for the scenery, the skiing and boating, and stay for a lifetime.  We know that, however long you decide to stay, your visit will be rewarding.
